The Beginning

So I'm in the process of creating a short animation which will be 20-30 seconds long.

I wanted to create something funny with a lot of character.

So here is my rough storyboards for my short.

So my story if you can't guess it from the storyboards, is about a waitress and she's on her way back to the kitchen with some dirty plates. She goes to push the kitchen door open and it doesn't open so she's a bit confused why and gives it another push, it still doesn't open. So she goes over to the bar on her left places down her plates and goes for another go at the door, this time she puts much more force into it and does a little run up. The door still doesn't open and shes left standing there stranded with a throbbing shoulder, then another waitress walks past and casually pushes the door open effortlessly, the first waitress is then overcome with embarrassment because of her lack of strength.
